Mindy Ryan (Alexandra Souria) and her family is moving to california but Mindy is afraid she is going to mess up at school and she trys to make a reputation. Mindy makes a friend at school Brenda talle who is a supernerd and never messes up, so Mindy hangs around her and they both volunteer for cafeteria duty but Mindy doesn't know how to cook in a kitchen so she messes up and Brenda trys to help her along with the kitchen staff such as Fred louis who is the other friend Mindy made. But when Mindy messes up the kitchen all 3 of them get in trouble so Mindys parents come in to the prinicipals office Jeff Ryan (Martin Angus), Melissa Ryan when mr ryan says that Mindy does not know how to do in front of her new friends, but Brenda and Fred, Shannon are just like mindy so they all became friends, But Mindy still messes up every once in a while.
